Fare is a new venture from the founders of GlobalTranz, a successful transportation company that specializes in Less-than-Truckload and Full Truckload freight, Supply Chain Logistics, and Warehousing and is one of Exadel’s Client for Life.
After multiple app development successes, the founders of GlobalTranz re-engaged Exadel to launch Fare. The new platform was designed to fill a need in the ride share market for a platform that fosters personal driver/rider relationships with features like scheduled rides and preferred drivers.
Fare approached Exadel with an idea, designs, and a feature set. Together, they used ID-GEM, Exadel’s ideation framework to develop a roadmap for the project, outlining the business needs and strategy in order to launch the product in an aggressive timeframe.

Exadel was the architect of the front end, back end, mobile product, and the cloud integration that was necessary to support Fare’s nationwide expansion. The end product was extremely scalable. The platform was able to handle a one-hundred-fold increase in rides from their test market in Phoenix, AZ to launching in Austin, TX with revenue growing to over a million dollars a month within the first month of launch.
In addition to a customized technology stack that allowed for rapid development, Fare also used Exadel to help build their internal development team. Post launch, Exadel continues to support Fare through close integration with leadership and has taken the helm on a redesign of the application.
