Fima Katz
Founder, President, and CEOMr. Katz is the President and CEO of Exadel. He founded the company in 1998 with a vision to fundamentally improve the way companies use innovative technology to develop mission-critical business applications. Through his vision, Exadel is now a leader in the enterprise open source solutions market and a pioneer in utilizing component-based architecture and open source approaches to radically reduce corporate cost and development time.
Mr. Katz has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. He has held managerial and technical positions with major financial services companies, including Wells Fargo Bank, Concorde Solutions, and Bank of America, where he served as the Chief Architect of Internet Systems. In addition, he has founded three other successful companies. His technical expertise includes the design of complex, mission-critical distributed object (CORBA/DCOM) systems, and the integration of complex legacy enterprise systems into business services. Mr. Katz is a recognized authority and speaker on Open Source, JAVA, XML and DOA technologies and has co-authored "The Essential Guide to Object Monitors" (Wiley, 1999). Mr. Katz holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Vilnius University.
Lynne M. Walter
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating OfficerMs. Walter is responsible for the financial and administrative operations of Exadel, ensuring that the company continues to maintain its track record of fiscal discipline and operational excellence. An employee since 2000, Ms. Walter brings more than 25 years of comprehensive executive, operational, and financial experience with both public and private companies to Exadel.
Ms. Walter has held a wide array of managerial positions, including COO, CFO, and IRO with the Greenbrier Companies, a leading manufacturing company with annual revenues exceeding $600 Million. In addition, she has held a long-term auditing role with K.P.M.G. and has held president and board position roles for multiple non-profit organizations. Ms. Walter holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
Donna Burke
Vice President of Marketing and Product Line ManagementMs. Burke oversees Exadel's overall strategic marketing initiatives, focusing on the delivery of products, services, and programs that forge Exadel's market leadership in the enterprise open source market. She brings more than 25 years of global marketing, product management, sales, and general business management experience in software and services. Proactive and profit-driven, Ms. Burke is a superb communicator capable of building businesses from the ground up to the highest levels.
Prior to joining Exadel, Ms. Burke was Vice President and co-founder of LEC Information Systems, a professional services company, providing specialized software development and consulting services to equipment manufacturers, service providers, and software tool companies. Previous to this, she held senior management positions in Product Management, Marketing, and Business Development with Ericsson, Raynet, and US West Advanced Technologies. Ms. Burke has consulted for both Fortune 500 companies as well as start-ups. Ms. Burke holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Nevada.
Gregory Katzman
Vice President of Customer ServicesMr. Katzman is responsible for managing Exadel's highly rated client customer care, training, and support teams. An employee since 1999, Mr. Katzman has served in a critical liaison role, maintaining communications with and expanding Exadel's offshore development teams in Eastern Europe. Today, in addition to managing the QA and support process for internal development, he oversees the US project management team that interfaces with Exadel's offshore development team. Mr. Katzman ensures on-time project delivery and effectiveness for Exadel's enterprise client base.
With more than 20 years of IT experience, Mr. Katzman brings a wide array of technical, operational, and client management skills to Exadel. In his prior position working with Abbott Laboratories, he served as a Senior Systems Consultant designing complex database interfaces and inventory management systems. In addition, Mr. Katzman has held management and IT positions with Bank of America (Concorde Solutions, Inc.), Landis, and Gyr (now Siemens). Mr. Katzman holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Engineering Institute of Minsk.
Andrew Komolov
Vice President of Client SolutionsMr. Komolov oversees the development team that has been responsible for the growth of Exadel's business with ABN AMRO Bank, a financial-services company that has tapped Exadel for the strategic design, Web development and technical implementation of their retail Web site, www.mortgage.com. An employee since 1999, Mr. Komolov has served as a senior developer and project manager for a variety of Exadel clients, using advanced technology to deliver mission-critical applications while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Prior to Exadel, Mr. Komolov worked as a developer for a variety of companies including AEROFLOT, the leading Russian airline, where he focused on application development, flight planning, and crew allocation resource management. He holds a Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University.
