Fima Katz
Founder, President, and CEO
Mr. Katz is the President and CEO of Exadel. He founded the company in 1998 with a vision to fundamentally improve the way companies use innovative technology to develop mission-critical business applications, and he has succeeded in realizing this vision growing Exadel's business by at least 30% year after year. Through his vision, Exadel is now a leader in the enterprise open source solutions market and a pioneer in utilizing component-based architecture and open source approaches to radically reduce corporate cost and development time as exemplified in Exadel's strategic partnership with Red Hat/JBoss. Most recently, he has guided Exadel into a leadership position in mobile applications and in reaping the benefits of the Cloud, as exemplified by the pathbreaking cloud-based platform, Tiggr.
Mr. Katz has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. He has held managerial and technical positions with major financial services companies, including Wells Fargo Bank, Concorde Solutions, and Bank of America, where he served as the Chief Architect of Internet Systems. In addition, he has founded three other successful companies. His technical expertise includes the design of complex, mission-critical distributed object (CORBA/DCOM) systems, and the integration of complex legacy enterprise systems into business services. Mr. Katz is a recognized authority and speaker on Open Source, JAVA, XML and DOA technologies and has co-authored "The Essential Guide to Object Monitors" (Wiley, 1999).
Lynne M. Walter
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Walter is responsible for the financial and administrative operations of Exadel, ensuring that the company continues to maintain its track record of fiscal discipline and operational excellence. An employee since 2000, Ms. Walter brings more than 25 years of comprehensive executive, operational, and financial experience with both public and private companies to Exadel.
Ms. Walter has held a wide array of managerial positions, including COO, CFO, and IRO with the Greenbrier Companies, a leading manufacturing company with annual revenues exceeding $600 Million. In addition, she has held a long-term auditing role with K.P.M.G. and has held president and board position roles for multiple non-profit organizations.
Donna Burke
Vice President of Marketing
Ms. Burke oversees Exadel's overall strategic marketing initiatives, focusing on the delivery of products, services, and programs that forge Exadel's market leadership in the enterprise open source market. She brings more than 25 years of global marketing, product management, sales, and general business management experience in software and services. Proactive and profit-driven, Ms. Burke is a superb communicator capable of building businesses from the ground up to the highest levels.
Prior to joining Exadel, Ms. Burke was Vice President and co-founder of LEC Information Systems, a professional services company, providing specialized software development and consulting services to equipment manufacturers, service providers, and software tool companies. Previous to this, she held senior management positions in Product Management, Marketing, and Business Development with Ericsson, Raynet, and US West Advanced Technologies. Ms. Burke has consulted for Fortune 500 companies as well as start-ups.
Gregory Katzman
Vice President of Global Operations
Mr. Katzman is responsible for managing Exadel's highly rated client customer care, training, and support teams. An employee since 1999, Mr. Katzman has served in a critical liaison role, maintaining communications with and expanding Exadel's offshore development teams in Eastern Europe. Mr. Katzman ensures on-time project delivery and effectiveness for Exadel's enterprise client base.
With more than 20 years of IT experience, Mr. Katzman brings a wide array of technical, operational, and client management skills to Exadel. In his prior position working with Abbott Laboratories, he served as a Senior Systems Consultant designing complex database interfaces and inventory management systems. In addition, Mr. Katzman has held management and IT positions with Bank of America (Concorde Solutions, Inc.), Landis, and Gyr (now Siemens).
Igor Landes
Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Landes is responsible for the quality of technology solutions delivered to customers. He also oversees and directs software development processes at Exadel.
Igor has over 25 years of experience in the software industry holding positions from software engineer and solution architect to VP of Applications and Software Development. He has extensive experience building tools and complex integration solutions based on a process-centric approach and SOA/BPM architecture. For the last 10 years, he has been managing distributed development creating highly energized global teams with a focus on the reduction of software project risks and on the cost-conscious management of all aspects of software project lifecycle. Igor brings to Exadel more than 15 years of experience creating solutions and products in the finance industry including wealth management, lending, securities trading, fixed income securities analysis, and options arbitrage. This software helped improve business agility and operational efficiency for such organizations as Bank of America, Fidelity, UBS, Wells Fargo, and Westpac.
