ABN AMRO Uses Eltegra's EXADEL Software
Concord, CA., - July 15, 2001 - ABN AMRO uses EXADEL for its mortgage group. The Ann Arbor-based mortgage lending group gets approximately 80% of its loan production through its Interfirst Wholesale Mortgage Lending subsidiary. ABN AMRO announced that has implemented EXADEL to connect its back office to its mortgage lending Web site.
EXADEL is a Java and XML-component business services platform from Eltegra, Inc., a Concord, Calif. software firm sites. EXADEL prepares ABN AMRO for integration with outside parties under emerging standards.
"Most back office systems are oriented around the loan," said Randy Friedman, executive vice president of Eltegra. "Theses standards are oriented around the customer."
Using software platforms like EXADEL that are based in XML-based standards create the potential to significantly reduce the cost structure underlying the mortgage process. By packaging existing processes into Meta Applications and Web Services, EXADEL can vastly increase Return On Assets (ROA)
