New JDO product line from Exadel, Inc.

Concord, CA., - August 1, 2002 – Exadel, Inc., formerly known as Eltegra, announced today the general availability of several new products based on Sun’s JDO Specification. "Exadel’s JDO editions provide a fantastic mechanism for Java developers to dramatically improve the performance of their enterprise applications while slashing the effort to implement persistent storage." said Randy Friedman, EVP of Exadel, Inc.
Exadel's products implement specifications set through Sun Microsystems’ Java Community Process to establish the Java Data Objects (JDO) mechanism for storing and querying Java objects in relational databases in general and for enabling object persistence in particular.
"Our Exadel JDO Enterprise Edition with super-fast dynamic transactional caching and visual object-relational mapping is one of the first JDO implementations to be used in a large scale e-commerce application. ABN AMRO Bank uses Exadel JDO Enterprise Edition to power their www.mortgage.com mortgage lending e-business with great results" Comments Mr. Friedman.
Exadel produces three JDO editions, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise, to best match product features with customer requirements. Descriptions of these products as well as evaluation versions are available for download at www.exadel.com
